Why FAYG Standard

The FAYG Standard gives you bilateral training capability — two independent arms on one footplate, each loaded with 100% latex bands. Pull, press, squat, row. Train every muscle group with a single piece of equipment that fits under your sofa.

The dual-arm configuration opens up the full range of cable movements — bilateral rows, overhead press, split squats with independent resistance per side. This is where FAYG becomes a complete training system.

FAQs

How does it work?

You stand on the footplate — your body weight anchors the unit. The resistance arms attach to the plate and the latex bands connect to your barbell or strap. Pull, press, or squat against the resistance. No fixed anchor needed.

How much resistance does it produce?

Up to 264 kg across two arms — crane-scale verified, not estimated. Adjust by adding or removing strands at 5.5 kg per strand. Today is 16 strands; next week is 18. Progress is countable.

Do I need to fix it to a wall or door?

No. The footplate is anchored by your own body weight during floor-mode exercises. Mount straps are also included for wrapping around trees, poles, gym racks, or doorframes when elevated anchoring is needed.

How long do the bands last?

Bands are consumable. Inspect before every session and replace at the first sign of cracking, discolouration, or loss of elasticity. Typical lifespan: 12+ months with regular home use.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Start with a single strand at 5.5 kg and scale up from there. The same kit serves rehab-light work and 264 kg compound lifts — no equipment changes between sets.
